This Privacy Policy applies to the FinSageX app (the "Application") created by Arpan Govila ("Service Provider") and provided as a free service.
FinSageX is a personal finance and budget tracking application designed to help users manage their expenses, income, and financial transactions. The Application does not use a backend server to store or process your personal financial data.
FinSageX does not collect or transmit your personal financial information to a backend server. Your financial data is primarily stored locally on your device.
The Application may request access to SMS messages only when you explicitly enable the Automatic Transaction Detection feature.
FinSageX provides an optional Automatic Transaction Detection feature that can identify eligible financial transactions from supported bank and payment SMS messages.
If you enable this feature and grant the required Android SMS permissions, the Application may read relevant SMS messages to identify information such as:
FinSageX does not use SMS access to send, modify, delete, or reply to SMS messages.
SMS messages are processed locally on your device for the purpose of detecting financial transactions. SMS message content is not uploaded to, stored on, or shared with a FinSageX backend server or third-party service.
The Automatic Transaction Detection feature is optional. You can choose not to grant SMS permissions, and you can disable the feature at any time from the Application settings.
Financial information created or detected by FinSageX, including expenses, income, categories, and transaction details, is stored locally on your device unless you choose to create or export a local backup.
FinSageX does not operate a backend database for storing your financial information.
Backup files, when created by the user, are stored locally or in a location selected by the user. You are responsible for protecting any exported or backup files.
FinSageX does not share your financial information or SMS content with third-party services.
The Application uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes, technical problems, and improve application stability. Crashlytics may collect technical and diagnostic information associated with application crashes.
Firebase Crashlytics is provided by Google and is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and diagnostic information that helps us identify and fix bugs and improve the performance and stability of FinSageX.
Depending on the circumstances of a crash, diagnostic information may include technical details such as device type, operating system version, application version, and application state at the time of the crash.
Crash reporting is separate from the SMS transaction detection feature. FinSageX does not intentionally send SMS message content to Crashlytics.
Firebase services may process crash information according to their applicable privacy policies.
FinSageX does not maintain a backend database containing your financial information or SMS messages.
Financial data stored by the Application remains on your device until you delete it, clear the Application's data, or uninstall the Application, unless you have created a backup.
Backup files created by the user may remain wherever the user chooses to save or copy them and are the user's responsibility to manage.
You can delete your financial data directly from the Application's settings or by clearing the Application's local data/uninstalling the Application.
Since SMS messages are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers, FinSageX does not maintain a separate server-side copy of your SMS messages.
If you have created a local backup, you must separately delete that backup from the location where you saved it.
Your financial information and transaction data are stored locally on your device. We recommend using your device's built-in security features, such as a secure lock screen, biometric authentication, and encryption, where available.
Backup files are also your responsibility to safeguard.
FinSageX is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The Application does not require users to provide personal information to use its core financial tracking functionality.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, applicable laws, or our privacy practices.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated version of the Privacy Policy.
By using FinSageX, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.
For optional features such as Automatic Transaction Detection, the Application will request the relevant Android permissions and explain their purpose before access is requested.
